We all have our concerns about the world today, some blame government others blame the moral decay of society. If we really look deep we may find that the scary truth is that we have all failed in some part. Our best hope for a more God- fearing world is not in government or self help, feel good books, it is in our children and the values that we instill in them. “Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.”- Deuteronomy 4:9. As much as it is the parents responsibility it is also every Christian man and woman’s responsibility to teach and demonstrate the Love of Christ and the moral obligation to lead a life pleasing to the one true God.
Our Church is in desperate need for people to step up and lead, guide and teach our future. “… your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.”- Matthew 18 :14. It’s not just an opportunity to serve, it is an obligation to the Lord our God!
Our children deserve the best possible future and it’s not what we give them, but what we teach them.
See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:10
