A Church is not a building, it is people. Because of this, every Church has a story here's ours.
Union Baptist Church was organized in 1842 and has been a vital part of the Caesar community ever since. We have been instrumental in the starting of new churches in our area to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From our ranks the Lord has called a number of men to preach, men and women to serve on the mission field, and many to serve here in our fellowship.
Not many things in this life remain the same. Through the years the ministries of Union Baptist have changed to meet the spiritual needs of those around us. However, one thing has never changed the Word of God. We agree that while methods may change, the message must never be changed. That is why we teach and preach the Bible to be the Inspired Word of God, free from errors, and always true. This has been the cornerstone of Union Baptist since 1842. Likewise, it is the reason that the Lord has richly blessed us.
We confidently face the future, all of it's challenges and uncertainties, with a solid faith in Jesus Christ. We invite you to join with us and be a part of an exciting work of God.
