Union Baptist Kindergarten
It is our goal to prepare each child for the life-long educational process, and to make the beginning of this process as exciting as possible. We want to help each child reach his/her potential.
As teachers and parents we are partners with one another and with God. Your child's well being and happiness are always our top priority. We thank God for each of these special children, and we appreciate your trusting us to be a part of their lives.
Please feel free to come to me with any questions or comments that you may have. I want to welcome and encourage your involvement in our school. I would also like to invite you to our church, if you are not already attending a church. We would certainly be thrilled to have you here. If we can help you in any way, please feel free to call on us.

Objective and Purpose
The primary objective and purpose of Union Baptist School, Preschool and Kindergarten is to train each child in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life and to give the child an excellent early education. The teachers of Union Baptist School realize their responsibility before God in molding the life and character of each of their students and to give a solid foundation for each child's future. The CDA Credentialed and ABEKA certified staff demonstrates a caring concern for each child under their care.
Registration and Enrollment
A registration form must be completed and returned to the kindergarten director. Registration fees must be paid when the completed form is submitted. Along with the completed registration form and fee, immunization records (MSDH form 121) and a copy of the child's birth certificate must be submitted. Your child will not be enrolled in a class until all records are completed and reregistration fees are paid. The registration fee will hold your child's place until the 1st month's tuition is paid, or until the 5th school day of the 1st month of enrollment. This fee is non-refundable.
Before this school year is over you will be given the opportunity as an already enrolled student to register for the next school year. It is important to you that you register early to reserve your child's place of enrollment for the next school year. When a class reaches full capacity registration forms will be filed in chronological order with outside registration. Classed will be filled on a first come first served basis.
All children enrolled are required to be completely potty trained. Teachers are not to be expected to change diapers. Teachers are responsible to care for the children in their classrooms, we do expect that accidents will happen occasionally and we are prepared to take care of an accident as it happens.
All withdrawals from school must go through the school office. If a student is not properly withdrawn, tuition and late fees will continue to be charged to your account. Students having attended one day or more of any period the parent will owe the full period's tuition.
The Director is CDA Credentialed. All teachers continue education by attending conferences, clinics and workshops sponsored by ABEKA, Mississippi Baptist Board, Mississippi State Department, Southern Baptist Convention and by Mississippi Early Childhood Association (MECA).

Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is a fundraising program sponsored by General Mills for schools across the US. Since 1996, Box Tops has helped America's schools raise over $100 million to buy the things they need such as library books, school supplies and playground equipment.
Clip the original Box Tops for Education to help our school earn cash. Schools get 10 cents for each Box Top they redeem from General Mills. For a complete list of hundreds of participating products, Click Here.
I encourage you to get involved collecting your Box Tops and ask friends and family to be involved and support your child at our school.
