Union Baptist Church Missions
Union Baptist church has a great history of mission involvement. We support the mission efforts of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) through the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) by prayer and giving to the Cooperative Program, Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon mission offerings.
UBC supports the Associational missions as well, through prayer and giving. We support, through the church budget, our adopted people group the Magindanao people of the Philippines. Also through the church budget we support Brother Justus Banuel of India, who does a mighty work in that country for the Lord.
UBC supports three other ministries through the Faith Commitment Offering. These are the ministries of Brother Lemuel Penalver and Brother Nathaniel Villafuerte of different areas of the Philippines and The Good Shepherd Children’s Home in Honduras. All of these ministries are doing great works for the Lord. Praise His Name!
We also have
members who have gone to many countries around the world on short term mission
trips spreading the Word of God with Faith, Hope and Love. These trips are mostly financially self-supported along with the
help of donations. Some of our own students that are a part of the Baptist
Student Union (BSU) have had the opportunity to have gone on mission trips to
the uttermost parts of the world. These too, are mostly donation and self
supported trips.
All in all
we can and should be thankful that God has blessed this church with a great
heart for missions.

just an overview of UBC’s involvement in missions. If you would like to know
